Debbie Sheridan’s generosity touches nearly every corner of Inova’s mission – from providing support through the Schar Challenge as we launched our Do. More. Together. campaign, to advancing the Inova Fairfax Emergency Room expansion to uplifting both patients and team members in meaningful, heartfelt ways – Debbie is always there for Inova. A devoted champion of Inova’s Greatest Needs, Debbie was an initial Do. More. Together. campaign supporter, who understands that to meet urgent priorities and to fuel innovation, flexibility is key. Support for Inova’s Greatest Needs helps ensure that our doctors and clinicians can be agile when it is needed most.
One of Debbie’s most joyful contributions has been her support for Inova's animal-assisted therapy program. “I know most everyone loves dogs,” she shared, “but when I realized what joy they give patients and staff, I knew I wanted to help support bringing a Chief Comfort Officer to the Mount Vernon and Alexandria hospitals.” With warmth, vision and heart, Debbie exemplifies what it means to be part of the Inova community – creating moments of healing, comfort and hope every day.
